Requesting a useful transport quote

Route, weight, volume and constraints: the information that makes a request useful.

Discover
TransportPractical guide

A transport quote depends on a defined route and goods. The more precise the request, the better a suitable solution can be assessed. Weight or destination alone is not always enough to determine the cost and conditions of service.

Specify the route

Provide the collection and delivery addresses or locations, access conditions and contacts on site. For sea or air transport, specify the intended ports or airports if you know them.

Describe the load

Indicate the number of packages, dimensions, weight and volume. Add the product type and packaging details. Fragile, bulky or restricted goods require further information.

Share the schedule

Distinguish a preferred date from a firm deadline and indicate any flexibility. Ask what is included in the proposal and which services and charges require separate confirmation. Trans 4 can assess your request on the basis of this information.
